About
Peak Mind Therapy
At Peak Mind Therapy, I specialise in delivering professional counselling services through evidence-based approaches, primarily Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centred Therapy (PCT). My practice operates exclusively online, utilising Microsoft Teams, text messaging, emails, and telephone appointments. This model not only ensures convenient access to therapy but also reduces the overhead costs associated with physical office spaces, allowing me to maintain high-quality, effective, and affordable mental health support.
With extensive qualifications in Counselling, Advanced Counselling and Psychotherapy, I bring a depth of knowledge and experience to every client interaction. My voluntary work with a renowned crisis service equips me to support individuals of all ages facing diverse challenges, from relationship struggles and financial stress to self-harm and suicidal thoughts. Additionally, my role as a support counsellor at a local hospice involves providing compassionate guidance to bereaved families and patients navigating end-of-life concerns.
I firmly believe that everyone deserves to be truly heard. In today’s fast-paced world, feelings of isolation and loneliness can intensify, often leaving people reluctant to reach out to friends and family for fear of being a burden. Through my counselling practice, I offer a confidential and empathetic space where individuals can express their thoughts and feelings without judgement. By fostering self-awareness and resilience, I aim to help clients develop a stronger sense of self and a renewed purpose, empowering them to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence. Sometimes, all it takes is for someone to listen — and that is what I am here to provide.
Testimonials
“Talking through some personal challenges with Rebecca helped me realise the things holding me back and got me thinking about how I can challenge myself to overcome my anxieties.”
Rich - Portsmouth, Hampshire
“Rebecca is an outstandingly helpful counsellor, who was always willing to go above and beyond to help me overcome the tough challenges I have faced these past few years. She has the remarkable ability to comfort you when you need it most, which opens up a safe and welcoming space for you to open up in.”
Sue - Darlington, Durham
“Rebecca has been really supportive when I have been going through some difficulties with my ex-wife. Through her help, I was able to put a different perspective on my situation. It didn’t change the situation of a difficult ex, but I was able to regulate myself better, and consequently, I was able to manage the situation better. Rebecca provided an ear for me to talk to in a non-judgemental manner”.
Simon - Newport, Wales
